Washington's homeowners market
Carriers look closely at roof condition, the age of the home, and wildfire exposure on every Washington home. High home values around Puget Sound make it important that your dwelling limit reflects the real cost to rebuild. We also cover condos, rental properties, renters, and high-value homes.
Earthquake, flooding, and wildfire
Western Washington sits on the Cascadia Subduction Zone, and the 2001 Nisqually earthquake damaged buildings across the Puget Sound region. Atmospheric river storms, like those that flooded Whatcom and Skagit counties in November 2021, can flood homes outside mapped zones, and eastern Washington faces growing wildfire risk. A standard homeowners policy does not cover earthquake or flood, so we quote both separately.
Auto, boat, and business coverage
Washington requires auto liability limits of at least $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $10,000 for property damage, and insurers must offer personal injury protection unless you reject it in writing. We round out your protection with auto, boat, and umbrella coverage. For business owners, we also write business insurance, from business owners policies to commercial property, along with contractors insurance and trucking.
