Colorado's homeowners market
The Front Range is one of the most hail-prone areas in the country, so carriers look closely at roof age and material on every Colorado home, and many policies now carry a separate wind and hail deductible. Impact-resistant roofing can improve your options. Colorado also launched a FAIR Plan to give homeowners in high-risk areas a last-resort option. We also cover condos, rental properties, renters, and high-value homes.
Hail, wildfire, and flooding
The 2021 Marshall Fire destroyed more than 1,000 homes in Boulder County, and fires like Waldo Canyon (2012) and Black Forest (2013) burned neighborhoods around Colorado Springs. The 2013 Front Range floods showed that heavy rain can flood homes far from any mapped zone. A standard homeowners policy does not cover flood, so we quote it separately.
Auto, boat, and business coverage
Colorado requires auto liability limits of at least $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. We round out your protection with auto, boat, and umbrella coverage. For business owners, we also write business insurance, from business owners policies to commercial property, along with contractors insurance and trucking.
