Georgia's homeowners market
Carriers look closely at roof age and condition on every Georgia home, and coastal homes often carry a separate hurricane or wind deductible. When private carriers decline a home, the Georgia Underwriting Association serves as a last-resort option. We also cover condos, rental properties, renters, and high-value homes.
Storms, tornadoes, and flooding
Spring storms bring tornadoes, hail, and damaging wind across the state, and hurricanes can bring wind and storm surge to Savannah and the Golden Isles. Flash flooding is common in metro Atlanta during heavy rain. A standard homeowners policy does not cover flood, so we quote NFIP and private flood policies.
Auto, boat, and business coverage
Georgia requires auto liability limits of at least $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage. Heavy traffic on I-75, I-85, and I-285 makes higher limits and uninsured motorist coverage worth a look. We round out your protection with auto, boat, and umbrella coverage. For business owners, we also write business insurance, from business owners policies to commercial property, along with contractors insurance and trucking.
