We shop multiple carriers, explain your options in plain English or Spanish, and review your coverage every year.
Texas's homeowners market
Hail and wind cause a large share of claims, so carriers look closely at roof age and material on every Texas home, and many policies carry a separate wind and hail deductible. On the coast, the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) provides wind coverage when private carriers won't, and the Texas FAIR Plan is the last-resort option for other coverage. We also cover condos, rental properties, renters, and high-value homes.
Hurricanes, hail, flooding, and freezes
Hurricane Harvey (2017) flooded more than 100,000 homes in the Houston area, and Winter Storm Uri (2021) caused widespread frozen and burst pipes across the state. North Texas regularly sees some of the costliest hailstorms in the country. A standard homeowners policy does not cover flood, so we quote NFIP and private flood policies.
Auto, boat, and business coverage
Texas requires auto liability limits of at least $30,000 per person, $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage, and insurers must offer personal injury protection unless you reject it in writing. We round out your protection with auto, boat, and umbrella coverage. For business owners, we also write business insurance, from business owners policies to commercial property, along with contractors insurance and trucking.
